You can check your FASTag balance online using the NHAI My FASTag app, your bank's mobile app or net banking, SMS, or missed call service — regardless of which bank issued your FASTag.

Download 'My FASTag' app from Play Store / App Store. Register with your vehicle number. View balance on the home screen — works for all banks.
Open your FASTag issuer bank's mobile app (e.g., HDFC app, SBI YONO). Go to Accounts → FASTag to view balance.
Send SMS in format: BAL
Log in to your bank's net banking portal. Navigate to FASTag section to check balance and transaction history.
Visit fastag.nhai.org, enter your vehicle number and registered mobile OTP to check balance online without installing any app.
Limited options. Visit your bank branch with vehicle RC and ID proof. Some banks offer IVR balance check via landline.
Negative balance means a toll was deducted when balance was zero. Recharge immediately to restore active status.
Balance updates in real-time after each toll transaction or recharge. App refresh may take 1–5 minutes.
NHAI recommends keeping at least ₹200–₹300 above your most frequent toll fare to avoid blacklisting.
